While frenzied festival goers fought and frothed over Lana Del Rey at the GW McLennan tent, local Aussie MC 360 still drew a heaving crowd to the Mix Up stage on day two of 'Splendour in the Grass 2012'.
Supported by fellow Melbournian MC Bam Bam, the crowd roared as Australia's hottest hip hop artist appeared from the smokey shadows and flashing strobe lights to the soundtrack of gun shots.
Whipping through hits including 'Just Got Started', 'Throw It Away', 'Killer', and 'Child', fans sang along to every lyric showing just how relatable 360's song-writing is.
Introducing the next song, the rapper made clear his feelings on fidelity...
"This song is about my ex-girlfriend who cheated on me with my best friend," he said.
"Dirty f****n' bitch. You do not do that s**t, or you will get crucified...but it's alright because now I'm gettin' married to the beautiful Crystal."
Melbourne singer Gossling then joined him onstage a day before her show at SITG to perform their hit collaboration 'Boys Like You'.
Incorporating a mash of Big Boi's 'Shutterbug' and Regurgitator's '! (The Song Formerly Known As)', 360 - who’s quickly becoming the voice of his generation - effortlessly entertained the crowd.
Finishing off his set, the hitmaker, who refreshingly raps about life and not about the stereotypical spitting stories about "hoes" and drugs, left the audience with his latest single 'Run Alone', before farewelling the crowd:
"Have a safe night, peace out, I love you."
