He’s famously had beef with a whole load of hip hop peers including Kanye West, Rick Ross and Ja Rule – and now 50 Cent is set to release a book about bullying!
But rather than offer words of wisdom on how to rub fellow MC’s up the wrong way – the rapper is hoping to use his own experiences to help teens tackle the growing issue.
In a statement to MTV News about the upcoming novel, titled ‘Playground,’
"I had a strong desire to write 'Playground' because I wanted to explore how a kid becomes a bully.
"I drew on events from my own childhood and adolescence, but was excited to see the story take on its own life. This book would have been very helpful for me growing up and now that I have a teenage son, it is my goal that this will have a positive influence on all teenagers."
The book, due for release in January 2012, is the latest in several writing efforts by the ‘In Da Club’
In 2005 he released a memoir called ‘From Pieces to Weight,’
all about his rise to fame, and in 2008 he inked ‘The 50th Law,’
which explores the pursuit of success.
