AC/DC Co-Founder Malcolm Young Has Died, Aged 64
Malcolm Young, co-founder of Australian music royalty AC/DC, has died aged 64.
In a statement posted on the band's website, it's revealed that Young had been suffering with dementia for many years and passed away peacefully with his family beside him.
The statement also goes on to describe Young's all-too-important legacy and impact that he left on the music industry.
"Renowned for his musical prowess Malcolm was a songwriter, guitarist, performer, producer and visionary who inspired many. From the outset, he knew what he wanted to achieve and, along with his younger brother, took to the world stage giving their all at every show. Nothing less would do for their fans."
