Alicia Keys performs at Foxtel Music Channels’ Summer launch in Sydney
It was a star-studded affair in Sydney last night as Alicia Keys hit the stage at the Foxtel Music Channels’ Summer Launch party to celebrate the launch of the new Foxtel Music line-up, featuring the two new MTV channels, MTV Music and MTV Dance!
The global superstar graced Sydney’s Botanic Gardens in an eye-catching electric blue suit to perform three of her hits, ‘How Come You Don’t Call Me,’ ‘Brand New Me’ and ‘Empire State of Mind Part II Broken Down’ – which she localised for the Aussie audience.
During her performance, the 32-year-old commented on her love for her Australian fans and also noted how clean the city was.
“There is some good street sweeping going on,” she insisted.
Rudimental’s hype-man DJ Locksmith was also in the house, hitting the decks following on from Keys’ performance to continue the party well into the night.
Other big name celebs in attendance included supermodel Naomi Campbell and Aussie model Cheyenne Tozzi – who have been shooting ‘The Face Australia’ together in Sydney – as well as The Veronicas, Molly Meldrum, Kate Waterhouse, Marcia Hines, Cameron Daddo and of course our very own Kate Peck and Keiynan Lonsdale.
Check out our brand new channels MTV Music (Channel 808) and MTV Dance (Channel 810) on Foxtel now!
