Alt-J confirmed as Splendour in the Grass Mystery Band?
With only three days to go until Splendour in the Grass, fans are still waiting for the official word on who this year’s ‘Mystery Band’ will be – but if you’ve kept your eyes glued closely to the interwebs in the lead-up to the festival, you may have noticed a wee tweet from Brit rockers Alt-J appearing in your feed last night!
The ‘Breezeblocks’ hitmakers posted a not-so-cryptic tweet 11 hours ago which has lead us to believe they’ve all but confirmed they’re set to take the stage in Byron Bay on Sunday night.
Anyone know what the weather is going to be like at Splendour this weekend?

“Anyone know what the weather is going to be like at Splendour this weekend?” read the tweet.
The band are playing in Perth on Saturday night and after a two-day gap will head to Melbourne to perform at Festival Hall – a gap plenty big enough to fit in a festival appearance, we reckon!
When Splendour organisers first revealed there would be a mystery band in the lineup this year, a ‘∆’ symbol was included in the announcement as a clue, which had festival-goers speculating that Daft Punk could be heading our way.
But now it seems all signs point to Alt-J and we’re stoked!
