Just days after coming under fire for allegedly taking unauthorised payments from customers, Aussie model and personal trainer Ashy Bines is now copping it for referencing a little girl's suiciide in social media comments promoting her new range of 'clean treats'.
The 29-year-old Gold Coast local was called out by Instagram account @ashybinescompanytruths, who screenshotted a pair of comments where Bines used the hashtag #DoItForDolly -- which was created by heartbroken family of Warwick schoolgirl Amy "Dolly" Jayne Everett, who tragically took her own life last week after constant bullying -- to respond to users criticising her products.
"These people simply asked a question about her new clean treats and she is using a sweet little girl named Dolly who tragically took her own life to respond," the Insta account owners write. "She is the epitome of disgusting and low."
"She is using the death of a young girl so she can play the victim. She is absolutely disgraceful. I am so saddened to read that," one commenter replied.
While another added: "She would be able to make that hashtag a bad thing honestly."
Definitely not cool.
