There’s still a few days to go until the official line-up for ‘Big Day Out 2011’ is released – but the rumour mill is well and truly in motion!
With Aussie festivals like ‘Soundwave,’ ‘Good Vibrations’ and ‘Harbourlife’ boasting a list of impressive performers – the biggest and longest running music bash Down Under is under some mighty pressure to come up with some killer headline acts!
And if this piece of goss is to be believed – they’ve certainly succeeded…
Dominating the BDO rumours are reports that King of hip-hop Eminem could be making a surprise appearance for the first time ever!
And with the organisers warning concert-goers to “expect the unexpected” this year – who knows?
There’s also speculation the newly reformed Blink 182 will be taking to the stage, as well as Tool, who headlined the festival back in 2007, Soundgarden who performed at the event in 1997, Rammstein, who played in 2001, South African rappers Die Antwood and star of the 2006 bash, M.I.A.
Other names being tipped include Canada’s Arcade Fire, Grinderman and Iggy Pop.
