Bob Dylan’s Back!
Fifty years after he first burst onto the music scene with his self-titled debut record, Bob Dylan is tipped for a mighty comeback!
The legendary singer, who last graced the charts with his festive effort
‘Christmas From The Heart’ in 2009, is reportedly working on his 35th album.
According to the Aspen Times, the longtime hitmaker has been busy recording new material alongside multi-instrumentalist David Hidalgo, who he previously worked with on his last two records.
Revealing details about their latest hook-up, the Los Lobos musician told the Aspen Times of reuniting with the 70-year-old icon,
“It was a great experience. And different.
“It's an amazing thing, how he keeps creativity. I don't see how he does it.”
And when quizzed about the kind of direction Bob’s new release will take, he hinted that it could have a Latin American influence after he allegedly developed a fascination with a Cuban 3-string guitar that had been left lying around their LA studio…
“He'd say, ‘Wow, what's that?'”added David. “He liked the sound. So we'd get it in there.”
