Brian McFadden Hates "Skanky Accents"
Brian McFadden has outraged the UK media with the statement that he hates his children's accents, because they sound like their mother, former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, who heralds from the North English town of Warrington.
Brian is reportedly in the process of seeking custody of his daughters, and uses what may be the most novel claim of bad parenting used by celebrities to date. He was quoted by the Daily Star as saying: "It's horrible the way they speak. They have skanky Northern English accents. It makes me want to scream."
The Daily Star responded with a kind of protective vengeance against Brian's statements, levelling equal ammunition at poor old Sydney for their offensive tones.
"This is a little rich," said the paper.
"Considering he now lives with Delta Goodrem...in Sydney, a place where everybody vomits vowels through their nostrils in the delicate tones usually reserved for drill sergeants." Ouch.
Brian also described his ex as "a disgusting human being" and is allegedly using the MTV show "Kerry Katona: Crazy In Love" as evidence in the pending custody hearing.
The moral of the story? We're probably lucky Tila Tequila didn't find her true amor in the first series of Shot Of Love. The mind boggles at the kind of ammunition her future divorcees could have whipped out.
