Bruno Mars must be feeling “amazing” after having his criminal record erased!
According to Reuters, the singing sensation, who pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine after being arrested in September 2010, has been dismissed of the charges after completing more than 200 hours of community service.
The 26-year-old, who was found in the toilets of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas with 2.6grams of the Class A drug, was also ordered to stay out of trouble during a year informal probation, pay a $2000 fine and complete court-ordered drug education classes.
“Bruno earned the dismissal,” his lawyer Blair Berk
told the Associated Press after the court hearing this week.
"He exceeded the expectations of the court."
The six-time Grammy-nominated star, who’s due to perform at the LA awards bash next month, faced up to four years in jail if convicted of the charges.
