We can't believe we're seeing Charli XCX and Gretel Killeen on a panel talking about tea, but such is 2019.
With all fairness to Sunrise, she did speak about her record for a little bit, but it was her spilling the tea about tea that got the Internet talking.
I’m going to go out on a limb here, I reckon Charli XCX thought Sunrise was going to be a lot less rubbish than it’s current dumpster fire

Dunno what's wilder, this Australian breakfast show bringing on Charli XCX to talk tea prep or the fact that they call @joelgolby a "British author" https://t.co/qH8zql3tDT

In fact, this made international news, with both Dazed and NME reporting on it.
In case you were wondering what the debate was about, it was about how long one should leave a teabag in a cup for.
"I think 2 minutes, tops," XCX said.
When Gretel Killeen said she was "outraged" by the debate, XCX non-chalantly says "make a political statement."
AND I OOP-
In non-tea related news, XCX is playing a one-off secret show in Sydney tonight ahead of the release of Charli, which drops Friday, 13th September.
