Cheryl Cole reveals “really painful” new tattoo
The Brit beauty rocked out onstage in a bejewelled pink and white tutu, which showed off her intricate new artwork for the first time.
Speaking to The Sun backstage after the show, the singer revealed, “It was really painful but I think I’m done with tattoos now.
“It wasn’t for any particular reason, I just liked the design. It took 15 hours in total.”
“I actually got it five months ago — but it’s somewhere on my body you wouldn’t expect people to see it very often,” Cheryl continued.
“It was done by this amazing artist called Nikko Hurtado who basically travels round the world going to conventions.”
The star further revealed that she’d been keen to matching tattoos with her Girls Aloud band mates but it seems the other girls aren’t as game as Cheryl when it comes to getting inked!
“I was up for getting a small something done for the reunion but the girls aren’t quite so keen,” she dished.
According to MTV.co.uk, Cheryl has at least 19 tattoos including a Polynesian tribal symbol on her hand, barbed wire around her thigh and “Mrs C” inked across the back of her neck from her previous marriage to footballer Ashley Cole.
