People Are Outraged At Chris Lilley For Doing 'Blackface' On His New Show
Chris Lilley's new show 'Lunatics' debuted on Netflix this weekend, and already people are pointing out an unfortunate reality: Chris Lilley is again donning blackface for one of the characters.

Lilley came under fire in 2011 when S.Mouse, a character he portrayed on Angry Boys, came under fire from the U.S. hip hop community. It seems Lilley hasn't learned, with 'Jana' a pet psychic from South Africa seeing him wear an uncomfortable shade of makeup.
I haven't seen his new show. I can't judge it yet but Chris Lilley's twitter page still sports pictures of his blackface characters.
I'm pretty sure the dude hasn't grown. pic.twitter.com/8iNWiLQeKD

Defenders claim he is parodying Rachel Dolezal, a white woman who claimed to be African-American - but perhaps it would have been safer for him to just stay away, especially with Lilley's history.
It's been a long time since Summer Heights High and not so long since a blackface controversy but Chris Lilley is back. https://t.co/jvSlFnoSWy
