WATCH: Sir Patrick Stewart Makes His Return In New Series Star Trek: Picard

Sir Patrick Stewart has released the trailer for his new series 'Star Trek: Picard' at Comic-Con and we have no doubt that it's the most anticipated part of the Star Trek Universe.
The new series sees the franchise legend reprising the role of the iconic Jean-Luc Picard and will his endeavours in the next chapter of his life, helping assemble a new team to help a peculiar young woman who may have a connection to Data and/or The Borg.
The 79-year-old actor was joined by fellow co-stars Marina Sirtis, Santiago Cabrera, Jonathan Del Arco, Michelle Hurd, Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner as they took to the Hall H at Comic-Con in San Diego and discussed the new cast and the roles they'll play and how this new series will focus on what caused captain and admiral Jean-Luc Picard to leave Starfleet and he's keeping up with himself.
Sir Patrick revealed that his involvement in the show's creation was vital and would frequently visit the show's writer's room.
"I knew something unusual would happen. I knew I needed to be a part of it."
There's no official release date as of yet but we're expecting the release to be early next year, in the meantime, check out the trailer above.
