VIC Premier Dan Andrews' Recent Online Activity Suggests He's Cool With Ppl Doing Cocaine To Get Through Lockdown
Here’s a sentence we never thought we’d write: Dan Andrews is apparently cool with doing cocaine while in lockdown.. well that's what his latest Instagram activity suggests.
Yep, yesterday (Thursday), the @clownsband posted a yes/no poll on their Instagram story, asking: “Is it still allowed to do cocaine in lockdown? Yes / No @danielandrews plz respond”.
To which the Victorian Premier did in fact respond, voting yes. Well, at least according to a screengrab shared by Twitter user @ScootiePuffJnr who – it should be noted – could very well have Photoshopped it.
“Dan Andrews wants us to get on the nose beers,” Scott wrote. “Just when you thought he’d f***ked up, he kicks.”

The other possible scenario is of course that Dan’s finger slipped. We doubt he's actually giving everyone in Victoria the green light to get on it for the next six weeks... it just doesn't quite seem his style.
As you know by now, on Wednesday, Melbourne and the shire of Mitchell went back into a six-week lockdown with residents only allowed to leave their homes for four reasons: for work/school, care/caregiving, exercise or buying food/essentials.
When Dan Andrews made the announcement, he said: "We're on the cusp of something very, very bad if we don't take these steps today. We have to be realistic about the circumstances that we confront. We have to be clear with each other that this is not over. And pretending that it is because we all want it to be over is not the answer. It is indeed part of the problem. A very big part of the problem."
"That is why the public health team have advised me to reimpose stage 3 stay at home restrictions, staying at home except for the four reasons to leave, effective from midnight tomorrow night for a period of six weeks. There is simply no alternative other than thousands and thousands of cases and potentially more."
