Aussie Producer Falqo collecting fans with ‘Feel Your Love’
Sydneysider Falqo released the track ‘Feel your Love’ five days ago on Sound Cloud and already the play count has hit well over 100,000.
The 26-year-old producer, also known as Alexander White, is cleverly taking cues from Discovery-era Daft Punk, mixing a deep disco vibe with creative lyrics and electric vocals.
Reminiscent of other notable French producers like Fred Falke, Lifelike and Alan Braxe, White’s nu-disco style is gaining serious praise from Aussie dance fans and critics, while the impressive album art could sit comfortably next to Kavinsky’s ‘Testarossa Autodrive.’
Like LA-based producer Zhu before him, we predict Falqo’s ‘unsigned’ status isn’t going to last long and we wouldn’t be surprised if interest from established labels haven’t already started pouring in based soley on his Sound Cloud portfolio.
White’s definitely already felt the love from fellow Aussie DJs and studio pals Flight Facilities who have championed the tune from the moment it was conceived.
“We don't usually do this, but we've waited years to introduce you to our studio friend and neighbour Falqo. We've been hearing ‘Feel Your Love’ in our hallway since 2012.
We've been in love with this tune since we first heard it and we reckon he's destined for big things,” they wrote.
