Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl to close ‘Grammy Awards’ with rock legends
As part of an already star-studded lineup of performers the ‘56th Annual Grammy Awards’ have organised the Foo Fighters’ lead singer Dave Grohl to take to the stage with Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham to close the show.
The musicians all appeared in Grohl’s directional debut documentary last year titled ‘Sound City: Real to Reel,’ and while the details of the performance are being kept quiet for now, Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich revealed just how thrilled they are to have the legendary musicians on board.
“We're incredibly excited about this number. There's nothing better than when the Grammys can rock out, and to have these artists all together on one stage, doing a number that, when they presented it to us, knocked us out, is going to turn out to be one of those Grammy moments that people talk about for a long time."
The Grammys, which will be televised on Monday morning, will include performances by Jay Z, Beyoncé, Daft Punk, Pharrell, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Taylor Swift, Robin Thicke, Lorde, Kendrick Lamar and Katy Perry, among others.
