Demi Lovato to guest star on ‘Glee’?
She’s no stranger to the small screen being a former Disney darling, but it looks like Demi Lovato could be set to make a return to scripted comedy land very soon if the latest rumours are true!
E! News is reporting that the ‘Heart Attack’ singer has signed on to guest star in the upcoming season of ‘Glee’ and will play Dani, a struggling artist in New York who befriends Rachel (played by Lea Michele) and Santana (Naya Rivera).
While the 20-year-old is slated to first appear in one of The Beatles tribute episodes scheduled to air on October 3 in the US, the star’s reps are still yet to confirm the rumours insisting: “We don’t have any news to share at the moment.”
But it seems that Adam Lambert is excited at the prospect of sharing screen time with ‘The X Factor USA’ judge, tweeting her today to congratulate her on the gig.
“I just heard the news! Excited to sing w you girl! *IF the rumors are true! Lol,” he wrote.
The upcoming season of ‘Glee’ has been a hot topic since the tragic passing of Cory Monteith in July, with much of the talk centred around Monteith’s character Finn Hudson’s storyline in the show. However, ‘Glee’ boss Ryan Murphy did recently confirm that Finn would not be killed off via a drug overdose in the tribute episode for the star.
