Drake Reportedly Paid $350K To A Woman Who Accused Him Of Sexual Assault
Drake reportedly paid $350,000 to a woman who accused him of sexual assaulting her during his 2017 Boy Meets World tour.
Details of the settlement and alleged incident have been detailed in a complaint filed by Instagram model Laquana Morris against her attorney.
In the complaint, obtained by TheBlast.com, Laquana expains that "Drake forced me to perform oral on him. It wasn't your ordinary oral it was more so a fetish."
She goes on to describe graphic details of incident, involving her spitting into a cup so Drake could "measure it."
Laquana concluded that she alerted the Manchester Police Department of the incident, and despite her claims being investigated by authorities, no charges have been made against Drake.
According to TheBlast.com, Drake was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing and he wasn't prosecuted because the lead investigator couldn't secure a "100%" conviction. Sources close to the rapper told TheBlast he was cleared because the story "simply isn't true."
Late last year, Drake filed a lawsuit against Laquana after she claimed he had not only sexually assaulted her, but impregnated her, too. According to People, the rapper was seeking unspecified damages for civil extortion, intentional infliction of emotional distress, abuse of process, fraud and defamation. Apparently, at the time, Drake's lawyers said he would support the child if it was his, and requested a paternity test which Laquana never took.
No word from Drake on the settlement, or allegations, but this all sounds very, very messy.
