Ellie Goulding Announces 'Openside' As New Supporting Act For Her New Zealand Shows
When Years & Years pulled out of Ellie Goulding's 'Delerium' tour, everyone wanted to know who would be replacing the band.
Today it was revealed that up-and-coming NZ group, Openside, will be Ellie's new special guests! They're going to kill it on stage!
The Auckland-based power pop four piece have had a phenomenal year so far, opening for Twenty One Pilots and Melanie Martinez as well as selling out their own headline shows. Their f*cking awesome single ‘Letting It Out’ reached #1 on the NZ Spotify viral charts, and on September 16, they are set to unleash their debut EP ‘Push Back’. Openside are quickly building a reputation for their spiky pop punk live shows so make sure you see them before they hit the big time!

In talking about ‘Letting It Out’ their singer Possum says: “It is a song about evaluating the content of one’s own character, taking a look inside your head and being afraid of what you see. It explores the compounding effects of a natural tendency towards insecurity and self-doubt meeting a world that tells you that the person you are on the inside is wrong.”
With just two weeks to go before the Delirium Word Tour kicks off down under, limited tickets are still available!
