Lollapalooza Goss!

Eminem, Coldplay And Foo Fighters Hit The Chicago Festival

Over 60,000 fans turned out to get a glimpse of superstar Eminem when he headlined Lollapalooza Festival on Saturday, held at Grant Park in Chicago.

Dressed in black cargo shorts, a white T-shirt and a black hoodie, the Detroit rapper kicked off his set with new track ‘Won’t Back Down’ as videos of nuclear explosions filled the big screen behind him.

The ‘Crack A Bottle’ star belted out hits from throughout his career including ‘Lose Yourself’ and his chart topping duet with Rihanna ‘Love The Way You Lie’.

Fresh from their stellar turn at Splendour In The Grass, Brit rockers Coldplay also took to the stage during the two day festival.

According to MTV News, as well as performing their own smash hits, singer Chris Martin also paid tribute to the late Amy Winehouse during the band's 90 minute set with a solo piano chorus of the singer's hit 'Rehab.'

Rock legends the Foo Fighters closed the show on Sunday night - bringing the weekend to an end with a blues riff showdown between Dave Grohl and lead guitarist Chris Shiflett on Mose Allison’s “Young Man Blues.”
