- It Takes Just oneday To Change A Life

If you need a reason to organise a night of festivity, revelry or merrymaking then have we got the perfect excuse for you!

There are more people living with HIV in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa than anywhere else in the world. In some communities up to 60 percent of people between the ages of 16 and 45 are HIV-positive.

It's chilling statistics like these that stirred The Oaktree Foundation into action four years ago.  Since then, they have raised more than $1,000,000 for development projects in six countries to provide more than 40 000 young people with increased educational opportunities.

Run by an inspiring group of young Australians, The Oaktree Foundation is the country's first entirely youth-run aid organisation.   Oaktree believe prevention is better than a cure and thanks to an innovative initiative supported through oneday fundraising, an entire generation of influential young people will have the chance to lead their peers in the fight against HIV/AIDS within their own communities.

The best news? This is your chance to get involved and make a real difference in someone's life!

Run an event or donate oneday's pay on September 1, and you can help educate a young person for life.  Oaktree's project works at a grass roots level to support young people staying in school and making positive life changes.

The proceeds of oneday 2008 will support Oaktree's educational projects in South Africa, and just $15 will provide a student with access to life-saving education through the GOLD program.

It's a great cause and remember, it takes just oneday to change a life!
