EXCLUSIVE! Gaz dishes on new ‘Geordie Shore’ house mate Marnie!
‘Geordie Shore’ is back and better than ever, with new house mate Marnie getting set to add some new flavour to the Newcastle pad!
The brunette bombshell got her grand entrance into the Geordie house on episode one (which hit screens today), but Gaz has spilled the beans to MTV Australia about how the original girls, Holly, Charlotte and Vicky, really felt about having Sophie’s cousin join the party.
“If any girl comes into the house it’s hard for [the girls] because there’s always been lads coming and going but there’s never been a new girl,” revealed Gaz.
“Rebecca tried, she didn’t really fit in … And they’re always like ‘If a new girl comes in, we’re not talking to her, we’re not doing this, we’re not doing that,’ and because it was Sophie’s cousin they had no choice! They couldn’t be horrible to her because of Sophie so it was just perfect.”
But according to the Newcastle native, even if there had been trouble, there’s no way anyone could push Marnie around!
“Marnie’s a tough little cookie, man. She won’t back down to no one, like no one,” insisted the star.
“If the girls say something she’ll be like, ‘f**k off’. Even if there’s three of them standing there, like Vicky, Charlotte, Holly, she’ll still be like, ‘f**k off.’ It was funny to watch because she put them all in their place.”
According to Gary, Marnie made quite an impact on the house, even causing a bit of a bust-up between him and Scott!
“Me and Scott ended up having a fall-out, because Marnie, like she’s got the same banter as me,” he explained.
“So we’ll have a laugh together, we’ll get pissed together, we’ll have pre-drinks together, but because Scott was trying to bang her all the time, he’d always think we were flirting. Like we’re not flirting.”
Gaz added: “It was awkward for me because she’s my mate’s ex girlfriend, so I was like ‘f**k.’ So straight away I was like ‘Marnie, I can’t,’ and she was like ‘I know.’
“Obviously you can’t bang your mate’s ex on TV, you know what I mean. It’s a bit wrong – unless I spoke to him first … She was very flirty when she first came in but she realised I couldn’t get with her, so she kind of concentrated more on Scott.”
