‘Geordie Shore’ star Scott says relationship with Marnie is “getting too much”
‘Geordie Shore’ star Scotty T has admitted that he thinks his relationship with new housemate Marnie is “all getting too much” this season, after the blow-out in last week’s episode and her constant flirting with his fellow Buck Squad member Gaz.
Marnie was the centre of controversy in episode four when she took her flirting with Gaz one step too far and sent original ‘Geordie’ girls Charlotte and Holly into a rage – which merely added to the tense atmosphere in the house after she’d previously tashed on with one of Scott’s mates.
“She just went against her word and that’s what p*sses us off the most,” Scotty told MTV UK, speaking of he and Marnie’s pact not to pull each other’s pals.
“If she had gone and bucked the hell out of some random lad I wouldn’t give a f**k,” he added.
But Marnie has spoken out in defence of her antics, insisting that she’s not the one in the wrong and that Charlotte and Holly have got in the way of her relationship with Scott.
“I don’t think I’m in the wrong, because in the club there was alcohol involved and Holly – as well as anyone in the house – have all snapped before,” she explained.
“I would have apologised, but definitely not now after the things that they’ve called us. They’ve stirred things up with me and Scott, I’ll never forgive them for it. Things will never go back to being the same.”
Speaking to MTV Australia recently, Gaz described the bust-up as one of his biggest low-lights of the season.
“Me and Scott ended up having a fall-out because Marnie, like she’s got the same banter as me – so we’ll have a laugh together, we’ll get p*ssed together, we’ll have pre-drinks together. But because Scott was trying to bang her all the time, he’d always think we were flirting,” he shared.
“Charlotte and Holly came and spied on us working and went and told Scott that we were flirting. I was like ‘I’ve been at work, that was it’ … but he just couldn’t handle it.”
Scotty explained that he’s growing tired of his new housemate’s games revealing: “At the end of the day this is all getting too much for me so I don’t really give a f**k to be honest.
“As long as I’m single and not in a relationship then she’s free to do what she wants to do and I’m free to do what I want to do.”
