‘Geordie Shore’ star Vicky Pattison escapes jail over shoe attack
‘Geordie Shore’ star Vicky Pattison has attended the Newcastle Crown Court today to find out how she would be sentenced after admitting to a nightclub assault last year.
The 26-year-old reality TV star was accused of lashing out at part-time model Hannah Kelso, 18, in a bar, leaving her and female security guard Victoria Burns with facial injuries including cuts to the mouth and beneath the eye.
Admitting to one charge of assault and one charge of common assault at an earlier hearing, the Geordie star was sentenced to 12 months of community service and ordered to pay over $10,000 worth of prosecution costs and damages to both Kelso and Burns.
“When this offence occurred there were matters associated with her private life which meant she was at a low ebb,” Vicky’s lawyer Anthony O'Donohue said.
“She had hoped to receive some leave but that was cancelled due to filming in Australia and that increased the pressure upon her.”
Going on to speak about her plans for the future, Vicky’s representative also added: “She hopes to continue doing the sort of media activities that she has previously.
“She also has hopes of a commercial enterprise, a hope of opening a boutique and she is a woman of ambition and some ability, having been educated to degree level.”
While Vicky is yet to release a statement, the brunette beauty took to Instagram to share an inspirational quote which read: "Don't ever let anyone break your soul. You have to stand on your own two feet and fight. There are those who would give anything to see you fall. Never give them the satisfaction. Hold your head up high. Put a smile on your face and stand your ground."
