George Michael is free to “Go Go” after serving just HALF of his eight-week sentence behind bars.
The 47-year-old singer, who spent 28 days inside after crashing his car while high on cannabis, has been released from Suffolk’s Highpoint Prison in the UK.
Hours after stepping free, the ‘Faith’ star told The Sun,
"I want to be out. I want to go out.”
Surrounded by hoards of snappers as his flash North London home, he added,
“What a beautiful day. I just want to say thank you to everybody who supported me in there.
It's been inspirational and I'm coming out here on my own so that you'll realise that I just want to start again. Do you know what I mean?"
The former Wham! member was jailed last month when cops found him slumped at the wheel of his Range Rover, after ramming it into the front of a Snappy Snaps store.
At the time, he pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drugs and possessing two cannabis cigarettes.
