How Hot Dub Time Machine WON Groovin The Moo
When the tagline of your set is “Best. Party. Ever.” you probably want to deliver.
The Canberra leg of the Aussie festival series came and went over the weekend, winning over crowds with a standout atmosphere brought to life by electrifying sets across the three massive stages.
Up against some stiff competition from Australia’s youngest producer, 11-year-old Rhys Toms a.k.a. Black Summer, not to mention international superstars Charli XCX and ASAP Ferg, Hot Dub took the crowd to the next level as the sun set at Canberra University.
Here it is...Some of Black Summer's first set....pumping out his original track "Toxic Nirvana" to around 10,000 fans!!!!

For a comparatively more relaxed festival – significantly less fights, security, police and pass outs – the festival’s sideshow tent ‘Moolin Rouge’ proved to pack the biggest punch. Pumping with nostalgia and electric screams, Hot Dub dropped all your favourite tracks and then some.
Despite stumbling on some technical difficulties during ‘99 Luftballoons’ when a stack of red balloons failed to fall on the anticipating crowd, Hot Dub pulled out all the stops to deliver decades worth of tunes with something for everyone.
Nobody was in a bad mood after this exhilirating set, which fuelled the rest of the night's antics including an exceptional closing performance from Flight Facilities. Best party ever, indeed.
