Get Your Wands/Phones Out, ‘Coz The ‘Pokémon Go’ Creators Are Creating A Harry Potter Game
Remember when Pokémon Go whipped the world into an IRL Pokémon hunting frenzy?! Well, get ready for a whole new phenomenon to hit ‘coz the creators behind the insanely popular game, Niantic Labs, have announced that they’re working on an AR game based on your favourite wizard, Harry Potter.
The game, which goes by the title ‘Harry Potter: Wizards Unite’, will allow players to use their phones to roam around their own muggle neighbourhoods and cities to “discover mysterious artefacts, learn to cast spells and encounter legendary beasts and iconic characters.”
‘Harry Potter: Wizards Unite’ will also allow budding wizards/witches to team up in order to “take down powerful enemies,” which means that you and all the Hermione’s and Ron’s in your life will be able to come together to Avada Kedavra your way through the game.
'Harry Potter: Wizards Unite' is set to debut in 2018, so don’t be surprised if you see all your mates roaming the streets next year dressed in their Hogwarts robes, screaming ‘Crucio’ at their phones.
