As if you didn't already know that Harry Styles was the most beautiful human form to grace the planet, science has now proved it once and for all. Well, it's at least proved that he has the best looking chin and eyes on the planet, anyway.

This news comes from The Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery, who have been using the Golden Ratio - basically a load of measurements of facial features that prove how symmetrical your face is - to find out which male celebs are scientifically the most attractive. 

Your mum's fave George Clooney actually comes out on top (ooh err) as the most attractive male celeb of all when all facial features are taken into account, with Bradley Cooper in 2nd, Brad Pitt 3rd and Harry down in 4th. Other notable faces on the list include Will Smith in 6th place, Ryan Gosling in 8th and Zayn Malik in 9th place. 

Interestingly, however, they also anaylsed celebs' individual features and Harry came out top with both the most attractive eyes and chin(ny chin chin) - both accolades we're sure he'll be putting at the top of his CV with immediate effect. 

If you were wondering, Ryan Gosling wins the prize for most attractive nose (someone send him a rosette already) while David Beckham apparently has the most perfectly shaped face.

To calculate the Phi ratio of the nose – measure the length of the nose from its widest point to the middle of the eyebrows, and divide that by the width of the nose at its widest point  - if that equals 1.618 you have the perfect nose dimensions.

Face shape figures are calculated from measuring the three sections of the face - the forehead from hairline to top of the nose, the nose itself from top to base, and from the base of the nose to the bottom of the chin should all be of equal length to score a perfect 100%.
