Iggy Azalea and Diafrix join Movement Festival lineup!
The countdown is on to the inaugural 2013 Movement Festival and we are excited to announce that Aussie-born MC Iggy Azalea and Melbourne hip-hop duo Diafrix will be joining the lineup!
Azalea will be heading back Down Under for her first Australian tour since taking America and the world by storm, and on the back of her brand new single ‘Work,’ while Diafrix is also joining the bill for the east coast shows after supporting Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on their sell-out national tour.
Iggy and Diafrix will be joining the Movement Festival lineup to replace 2 Chainz, who, due to a pending court case and Australian and New Zealand Visa eligibility requirements, will no longer be able to perform at the event.
Angel Haze has also been forced to withdraw from the bill due to recording commitments with a certain high profile producer unavailable other than at the time Movement Festival has been scheduled for.
Festival organisers have also announced that due to the adjustments in the lineup and a worse than anticipated long-range weather forecast, it has been necessary to move some of the shows to indoor venues. However, all scheduled dates still remain the same.
Movement Festival venue changes are as follows:
Melbourne’s event on Saturday 27th April moves to Festival Hall – all ages - from Myer Music Bowl
Brisbane’s event on Sunday 28th April moves to Eatons Hill Hotel – all ages – from The Riverstage
Perth’s event on Tuesday 30th April moves to Metro City from Red Hill Ampitheatre (and is now over 18’s only).
Sydney’s event on Friday 26th April remains at The Hordern Pavilion – all ages.
