An Australian Woman Has 'Mistakenly' Been Shot Dead By Police In The US
An Australian woman has reportedly been killed by police in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota in response to a 911 call.
According to the StarTribune, the 40-year-old woman had phoned 911 after hearing suspicious and strange noises behind her and her American fiancé's house.

In a statement released by the Minneapolis Police, apparently officers were responding to a call regarding an alleged assault when an officer fired their weapon, which ultimately killed the woman.
The officers involved were allegedly wearing body cameras, but they were not turned on at the time of the shooting. The woman's name and other details have not been released yet as to notify her Australian family first.
