Celebrities React To The Sudden Death Of 20-Year-old Disney Star Cameron Boyce
Disney fans are mourning the death of 20-year-old actor Cameron Boyce, who suddenly died from a seizure over the weekend.
"It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report this morning we lost Cameron," a spokesperson told ABC News on behalf of the Boyce family.
"He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him."
"We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother."
Cameron was best known for his roles in feature films including Mirrors, Eagle Eye, Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2, and for playing Carlos in the Descendants TV films. He also appeared on Disney series Jessie and Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything. Cameron was part of a breakdancing crew and in 2017, he helped raise over $27,000 for the Thirst Project, which helps bring clean water to underdeveloped countries.
Cameron's fans have taken to social media to pay their respects to the young star, as well as his famous friends and followers, including Yara Shahidi, Skai Jackson, Zendaya, Adam Sandler and more.

I don’t even know where to start... I am at a loss for words. I never thought in a million years I would be writing this. Cam, you were one of a kind. My heart will be forever broken. I am so happy that I got to spend almost everyday with you on set, you gave the best hugs. I wish I would have hugged you tighter when I saw you a couple of months ago. Thank you so much for being the big brother I never had... I am so distraught and I cannot stop crying! I love you so much... fly high 👼🏼 💔😢 Gods best Angel . #CameronBoyce

Heartbroken. Lost for words. I had known Cameron Boyce for many years. He was always polite. Always respectful and always a class act. In fact I was going to message him a couple weeks ago to tell him that I wanted to be in each other’s lives more.

Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around. Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Cared so much about the world. Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us. So much more was on the way. All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences.
Love you Cam. Your laughter, compassion and heart for humanity will be forever missed. We are all better for knowing you and your love. pic.twitter.com/Xqy5gt2En3
