Dan Andrews Lifts Key Restrictions, Saying Five Visitors & Outdoor Sports Of Up To 10 A-Okay In VIC From Wednesday
Victorians can have five guests in a home and exercise outdoors in groups of 10 as of this Tuesday midnight, said Premier Daniel Andrews today (Monday) via 10Daily.
The announcement comes after ScoMo’s outline on Friday of the three-step plan designed to get the country out of lockdown restrictions. In the presser, the PM had explained it would up to individual states and territories to decide when to start each step and which specific rules to follow.
Today, Premier Andrews said: "This is not over, I wish it were, but it's not over," he said.
"It's not an invitation to be having a dinner party at every house, every night. It's the first opportunity for a first step that is safe, cautious and appropriate."

Unlike other states and territories, cafes and restaurants in VIC still won’t be allowed to open for table-service (it remains takeaways only). And though national parks will be open, camping also won’t be allowed. Those in Victoria are also encouraged to WFH until at least end of May.
From this Wednesday, Victorians will be allowed...
- Five visitors to your home
- Gatherings of up to 10 people outdoors
- Up to 10 wedding guests, 20 funeral guests indoors (30 outdoors)
- To visit national parks
- To visit open houses including auctions
