Watch The Trailer For The New ‘Humans Of New York’ TV Series & Feel Inspired
Humans of New York is hands down one of the best photography pages on Facebook, and over the years we’ve laughed, smiled and cried over the stories captured daily by the blog’s founder Brendon Stanton.
Given HoNY’s major success, Staton has decided to take his blog to the next level with Humans of New York being transformed into a TV series which will premiere on Facebook’s new TV platform, Facebook Watch, next week.
The show’s epic trailer has dropped, and as predicted, it’ll give you the daily dose of inspo that you need in your life.
In a post on Facebook about his decision to make a HoNY TV series, Staton revealed that early on he realised that “video would add a deeper layer to Humans of New York.”
“At the heart of all these posts are the conversations themselves. I’m often deeply moved by the people I meet. They make me laugh. Or they make me think,” Stanton wrote.
“I always do my best to recreate the experience through photos and words. But I always knew that video would provide the closest thing to ‘actually being there.’”
Stanton also revealed that footage for the TV show had been filmed over the span of four years, with a whopping 1200 people being interviewed on the streets of New York for the show.
We. Can’t. Wait.
