Jacinda Ardern Defends Clarke Gayford Over Controversial Column
NZ Herald columnist Deborah Hill Cone criticised the 'First Bloke' of New Zealand throughout the article - that was released on Sunday - saying he gave her "acid reflux".

In an interview with The AM Show, the PM tolod Ducan Garner she didn't read the column but could tell it "wasn't particularly nice."
"I do acknowledge that he's in the public eye in a different way than perhaps other spouses, but I still think there are lines to be drawn," she said.
"Regardless of political flavour I would say that that wouldn't be right."

"He had a public profile long before I came along. That means both of us have been in the public eye," she continued.
"He supports me hugely and I appreciate that."
