James Arthur bites back at will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue on Twitter!
James Arthur has taken to Twitter to hit back at will.i.am and The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue after the pair claimed they’d never even heard of him – despite the fact that he’d previously auditioned for the British version of ‘The Voice.’
The pair, who are once again part of the judging panel for the current series of ‘The Voice’ in the UK both spoke at a recent press event, claiming they’d never heard of the ‘Impossible’ singer, who auditioned for the show before going on to win ‘The X Factor UK’ last year.
“I’ve never heard of him. He didn’t make it through. 30,000 people audition and then they get whittled down to what gets presented to us, so he obviously didn’t make it through to that part,” said O’Donoghue, according to MTV.co.uk.
While fellow judge will.i.am chimed in with: “Who is James Arthur?”
And by the sounds of it, the apparent diss has not gone down well with J-Arth, who took to Twitter to give his own back to the pair.
“Who’s James Arthur?’ .. He was the dude keeping you off the top spot for weeks. Sights set higher than the voice #whereisthelove,” tweeted the singer.
But this reality TV war isn’t the only thing on Arthur’s mind at the moment, with the star preparing to undergo 50 hours of needlework to get his current sleeve tattoos re-inked!
According to The Sun, the singer is covering his original amateur body art with an enormous new inking of King Arthur and will also have a large queen tattooed on his opposite wrist in the process.
“It has taken around 20 to 30 hours to do so far but I reckon it’s set to take another 20 hours,” celebrity tattooist Kevin Paul told the newspaper.
