Time to dust off your silliest hat and get your groove on Australia – because funk-meisters Jamiroquai are heading down under November and December!
Last here in 2005, singer Jason Kay and his cronies will be in Oz from November 19 to November 24 this year to promote their latest album ‘Rock Dust Light Star’.
The band’s killer eighth album, which was recorded over two years at Jay's home studio in Buckinghamshire, has been described as "blistering, poetic, meaty, reflective and inspiring" according to the Daily Telegraph. Over the last 18 years, Jamiroquai have sold a whopping 25 million albums sold and obliterated the charts with over 20 hit singles.
As reported on jamiroquai.com, Jay said about the new album, "Everything on the record is live. It's a real band record. The last, album - fantastic - but the whole thing became a little sterile. This time we've captured the flow of our live performances”.
The behatted singer/song-writer and qualified helicopter pilot will be performing singles from ‘Rock Dust Light Star ’ as well as other hits with his band at an invite only Take 40 Australia party in November 20 at an exclusive Sydney Harbour mansion.
We’ll keep you posted…
