It wasn't just Lauryn Hill’s comeback that rocked the crowd at ‘The Bells Festival’ – but the surprise appearance of her A-list pals too!
The hip-hop queen, who was headlining the 7th annual bash on Governors Island in New York, had the entire audience on their feet as she brought out an impressive list of stars up on stage.
The legendary singer opened the event with the Fugees classic hit ‘Fu-Gee-La’ before inviting Mary J Blige, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Estelle, Chris Rock, and John Legend up to join her.
And there was one other celebrity guest who was more than thrilled to join her idol on stage - Alicia keys.
The heavily pregnant star refused to let her baby bump get in the way of having fun and happily danced and cheered on stage alongside the ‘Killing Me Softly’ star and her hubby Swizz Beatz.
The 35-year-old songstress, who also performed tracks including ‘Ready or Not’ and a seven-minute rendition of ‘When It Hurts So Bad’ later invited her kids up for a touching performance of ‘To Zion,’ dedicating the track to her first-born child.
