Jenelle Evans Addresses 'Absurd' Custody Battle Rumours
Jenelle Evans is keen to set the record straight about her highly publicised custody battle.
ICYMI, the former 'Teen Mom 2' star is currently fighting for custody of her two children, Ensley and Kaiser, as well as her husband David's daughter, Maryssa. The couple's children were taken away by Columbus County Child Protective Services earlier this month after David killed their family dog.
In a recent interview, Jenelle told E! News that "the reports about custody are absurd."
"I don't understand why everyone thinks Maryssa is excluded out of this situation when every child is involved," she said. "We are fighting for all the children to come home."
Maryssa is currently staying with her mother and grandmother, but according to Jenelle, they have "cut David off completely."
"He's being nice as possible and trying to check up on her and they refuse to answer the phone."
Jenelle is only allowed to see her children once a week during supervised visits. "It's really hard holding my emotions together when your child doesn't want to let you go, but if you don't hold it together and break down it will make the child more concerned and upset," she told E!
The reality TV star said she's doing "everything possible to cooperate with Child Protective Services," and she's "hopeful" that she will regain custody of her children.
