Fans Are P*ssed At JLaw ‘Coz They Think She Said That The Hurricanes In The U.S. Are Linked To Donald Trump
Jennifer Lawrence has previously spoken out about not being a yuuuge fan of Donald Trump, but her most recent comments about the POTUS may have landed her in hot water with fans.
Appearing on Britain’s Channel 4 News for an interview about her new movie Mother, JLaw was asked about the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey which hit the U.S., the Caribbean and Mexico over the last few days.
“You’re watching these hurricanes now, and it’s hard—especially while promoting this movie, not to feel mother nature’s rage and wrath,” she said.
“It’s scary to know, it’s been proven through science, that climate change is due to human activity. And we continue to ignore it, and the only voice we have is through voting.”
After sharing her opinions about Harvey and Irma, JLaw was also asked about Donald Trump being the President of the United States, to which she replied that Trump’s election was “really startling.”
Whilst JLaw’s comments seem innocent enough, fans have misinterpreted her statements claiming that the Mother actress views Hurricanes Irma and Harvey as being nature’s ‘wrath’ for Trump being elected as POTUS.
Fans have since taken to Twitter to slam the actress for her comments.

Seems like a simple case of misinterpretation to us. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
