Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and TLC to perform at ‘American Music Awards’
Guests and home viewers of the ‘2013 American Music Awards’ will be in for a great show this year, with Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and TLC having just been added to the incredible lineup of performers.
Set to take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on November 24, the AMAs will be hosted by rapper Pitbull and acknowledge some of the biggest names in the music industry through a number of awards, while also featuring 16 performances throughout the program.
While we don’t know much about the other performances, we do know that J.Lo will be singing a tribute to salsa dancer Celia Cruz and TLC will be taking to the stage with a special guest.
Previously announced performers include Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Lady Gaga, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Ke$ha, Pitbull, Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are leading the way in terms of nominations, with the potential to win six awards including Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for their hit ‘Thrift Shop.’
