10 Work Perks From Around The Globe That You Won't Believe Actually Exist
There are many ways to an employee's heart, and while a fat salary is one of them, they're sometimes hard to come by. That's when work perks come in.
Most millennials are scrolling directly to the perks section of a job ad, as any type of benefit you can brag to your friends about is job worth applying for. (Kidding, kinda.)
A study conducted by US initiative North Dakota Young Professionals Network discovered that the younger generation is less likely to be attracted to a job with traditional HR benefits, and more towards how the culture of the business speaks to them.
Gone are the days when all you can do is please your employees with a Nespresso machine, as now companies are offering free lunch, unlimited leave and BYO dogs.
Here are 15 insane employee perks from around the globe that are getting their workers out of bed in the morning, or at least making Mondays that much sweeter...
Work Anytime You Want
Remember growing up and hearing Dolly Parton sing '9-5'? Well those are the old days because the concept of Monday to Friday, 9-5 is outdated in some offices.
Netflix has done away with this system, and provides their employees with the ability to work whenever then want. They say as long as you do the work, you shouldn't have to clock standard hours.
BRB, going to tell the CEO of our company this and see if they agree.

Yep, you heard that right. Imagine the dream taking as much leave whenever you wanted.
At Richard Branson's company Virgin, employees are able to take time off whenever choose for as long as they desire, and they don't even have to get approval for it!
Sound too good to be true? Well the only rule is that employees can only do so once their team has finished whatever project their working on, and that the time away won't damage the business.

We bet this rule was coined up by a CEO who loved their dog way too much.

It's safe to say that we wouldn't put 'hates dogs' on the top of your resume.

Just the thought of the debt we've got in our accounts makes us cringe. At PwC, employees are offered $1,200 a year to pay off their student loan.
Please, hire me. I'm begging you.
Simple, but important. When it's 5 degrees in winter, the last thing you want to do is go out for lunch. Coordinating with your coworkers, waiting in line, paying so much money for literally nothing, are all downsides to having to fetch your own food.
At Uber, Facebook & Linkedin, employees are provided with free food, encouraging them to gather together and unwind during their lunch hours.
Whats on the menu? Their most popular options is 'brunch for lunch', which serves scrambled egg whites with scallions, chicken apple sausage, and challah french toast.
