The Jonas Brothers Prove Why They're The Sweetest Bois In The World After Receiving Grammy Nomination
We will follow the Jo Bros anywhere blindly. Quite frankly, we're suckers for them and these tears of proudness prove it.
Our favourite 00s boyband has been nominated for a freaking Grammy Award and this. is. huge.
Arguably the biggest award in the music industry, this comes as no small feat to the Jonas Brothers.
Considering this time last year, the band hadn’t even announced getting back together since their official split six years ago, being nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance is a massive nod to their 2019 success.
Nick, Joe and Kevin have posted a heart-warming thanks on their Twitter, getting candid about their reunion.

“This isn’t just a band, this is our family,” they wrote and yup, we got shivers.
It’s been a tumultuous journey of navigating growing up in the spotlight, finding their individual identities and the landscape of working alongside siblings.
The boys disbanded in 2013 after the emotional strain of the project on their family ties became too much.
“There was definitely a strain emotionally that was being put on all of us. We had such a specific way of doing things for so long and I think as we got older and tried to progress artistically, we got stuck in those old ways so our music suffered and our general vibe with each other and ability to communicate in a healthy way no longer existed,” Nick told Wonderland magazine.
“I think it was always a priority for us to protect the family first and make sure that nothing ever complicated that relationship too much,” he added.
But we are so damn happy the team is back together and doing so well, and this nomination means plenty more to come.
The boys are up against Ariana Grande and Social house, Lil Nas and Billy Ray Cyrus, Post Malone and Swae Lee; and Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
Despite how the night turns out, they’re the real winners in our eyes.
