His movie biopic ‘Never Say Never’ was a HUGE blockbuster success – but can Justin Bieber sell out cinemas when he’s playing someone other than himself?
Well, let's hope so, because the tween idol, who also made a brief appearance on ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,’ admits he’s been bitten by the acting bug and hopes to tackle more projects on the big screen.
"I hope to do some more acting. I have only done a few things like CSI, but I really want to do some more acting," Bieber told E! News.
And first on his list is a basketball flick with Hollywood heartthrob Mark Wahlberg.
"Mark Wahlberg and I - we've been working on the script for a long time now," he added.
And while we know the Biebs can do no wrong when it comes to the charts – Wahlberg insists he’s pretty skilled when it comes to tackling scripts too.
Chatting about the film to MTV News earlier this year, ‘The Fighter’ star said,
"It's set in [the world of] street hustling basketball... Obviously, [Bieber] is a very good athlete," the actor said, adding: "He can play. But I also really think he can act."
