Not exactly sure what bipolar disorder is? ReachOut Australia characterises bipolar disorder as follows...
Bipolar disorder is when people experience serious extremes of mood, to the point where their moods interfere with their daily life. If you have bipolar disorder, your mood is likely to go through extreme highs (known as mania or hypomania) and lows (known as depression). However, what you experience during each mood, and how quickly or slowly you move between high and low moods, is different for everyone. There are also different types of bipolar disorder.

Sources close to Kanye West told TMZ that they are concerned his disorder has 'impacted his decision-making' over the past few weeks.
Kanye West announced over the weekend on Twitter that he was running for US president. A few days later, Kanye gave an alarming interview to Forbes in which he’d claimed he’d be running as part of a new party called the ‘Birthday Party’; revealed he’d never voted in his life; said he had COVID-19 in February; and dropped that he didn’t believe in vaccines. You can read all about that here.
We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States 🇺🇸! #2020VISION

Naturally all this caused much concern and frustration from the wider public. But while TMZ’s sources say his family and friends are worried, they do believe things will stabilise as they have in the past.
In 2018, Ye told TMZ he’d stopped taking meds for his bipolar because doing so “stifles his creativity”.
A year later, in 2019, he shared more about his bipolar condition and mental health with David Letterman via Variety.
When the American host asked him: “What is the mechanism that is malfunctioning in your brain — do you know?”, Ye replied: “I wouldn’t be able to explain that as much, because I’m not a doctor."
“I can just tell you what I’m feeling at the time. And I feel a heightened connection with the universe when I’m ramping up. It is a health issue. This is like a sprained brain, like having a sprained ankle. And if someone has a sprained ankle, you’re not going to push on him more. [But] with us, once our brain gets to a point of spraining, people do everything to make it worse!”
