Kate Peck: My Week, My Style
So I’ve decided I like BUGS! Not just any bugs mind you, bugs sourced from the particular tastes of Sass & Bide. The collection that is currently out in Myer has a brilliant insect theme throughout many of the pieces, which could almost convince bug haters worldwide that creepy crawlies are really rather stylish. Here I’m wearing the ‘Monuments are built’ knit.
Today I arrived in Melbourne. And it’s FREEZING, so I’m snug as a bug in my Arthur Galan red leathers, Kenzo woollen jumper, Tony Bianco boots and Watson X Watson glitter trench. And of course my favourite Antler Juno travel case :)
This week I’ll be shooting a new style series with Tissot watches, which involves myself interviewing the AFL’s most stylish couples about some of their worst, best and most memorable style choices, dating all the way back to when they were knee high to a grass hopper.
We kicked off with these two legends, Renee and Corey Enright. Corey plays for Collingwood and his wife Renee has made a solid dent in the fashion industry with her presence as a stylist, not the easiest thing to do when you live in Geelong! She will be launching her new website very soon. Above, I’m wearing a Kate Sylvester ‘Sasquatch’ fringe jumper.
Next up I had Carlton’s Marc Murphy and his mega babe other half, Jessie Habermann. He rocked up in trackies so we sent him shopping while Jessie and I chatted style. Her blog C'Est Vogue and insty are kicking serious style goals (see what I did there, kicking goals, sahhh funny).
I’m wearing a Penny black bomber and White Suede skirt.
Tonight I’m hosting the ASTRA Industry Excellence awards, and this is what I call my ‘Peck Cave’, where I pop on a face, tizz up my hair, learn lines and rock out in a frock to the next event. Tonight I’m wearing the ‘Time traveller’ dress.
See you next week my fashionably fab friends!
