Katy Perry Can ‘Swish Swish’ 'Coz She Was Gifted Precious TOILET PAPER At Her Aussie Fire Relief Gig
Katy Perry was quite dressed literally a beacon of hope in the Victorian town of Bright as she performed in a fluro yellow dress to raise awareness for Australian fire relief on Wednesday.
The newly pregnant popstar was plopped in the middle of the 3,000-strong devastated town, performing a free show to lift spirits and draw a crowd to the affected area.
One fan in the crowd of 6,000 was Yasmin Nelson, who has seen Katy Perry EIGHT times in the past – a definitely die-hard KatyCat.
Yasmin told MTV she lined up for four hours to nab a front row spot, aka the prime position for a little Australian gift giving.
Part-way through the relief concert, she passed Katy an incredibly valuable present: a roll of toilet paper neatly tied up in a bow. PSA Katy! Hold that dear, people are getting savage for that stuff…
According to Yasmin, Katy picked up the toilet paper roll and asked, “Was this like $80?” fully-well knowing the preciousness of the bathroom staple.

However, Yasmin also revealed that the roll in fact had handwritten fan messages on each square – an initiative from the radio show Yasmin produces on ACE Radio.
Wildly, this hardcore fan has made headlines in the past for gifting Katy Perry two meat pies on separate occasions…
Katy Perry put on the gig after relating to the small-town damage.
"Hearing stories of [people] evacuating over Christmas and New Years and all the people who volunteered and their families, it really hit close to home," she said.
"Music is about the community, it's about people, it's about touching people's hearts. I love local people. I'm from a local little town … so I felt really close to it."
As a native Southern Californian, I know firsthand the devastation of wildfire across my home communities, and was particularly 💔 by the Australian bushfires. Australia has always given me so much love and support so FIGHT ON is one way to return that love, and help provide a little bit of joy to a country that’s given me so much joy. 🤗🤗🤗 Join me at Pioneer Park Recreation Reserve in Bright, VIC on March 11. Tickets to the concert are free and being distributed to emergency services who helped save lives and property as well as local residents from fire-affected communities. You can register for additional tickets at the link in my bio. Again, thank you to my Australian community for always being one of my biggest champions. I hope I can return the support to you ♥️ 🇦🇺
"I definitely wanted to get out of the bigger cities and into the smaller places that were truly affected. I'm here to help give that message of gratitude to all of them," she continued.
"I think a celebration is always a good choice, to come together and remember we are stronger and will build back up and move on."
Her Fight On performance took place in the Alpine Shire which is estimated to have $90 million worth of fire damage following the summer destruction.
Katy performed at the Women’s T20 World Cup final match between Australia and India at Melbourne’s MCG days earlier.
