GET FKD: Kourtney Kardashian's Diet Sounds Completely Unrealistic
Kourtney Kardashian is about to turn 39 in April and after having three kids, the reality television personality is still at peak physical fitness. Like, HOW.
But now we know. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took to her app to describe her latest 'ketosis' diet and tbqh it sounds completely unrealistic for the average joe.
Here's Proof Kourtney Kardashian Is The Hottest She's Ever Been
The first part sounds pretty standard, Kourtney describes the diet as "low in carbohydrates and high in protein and healthy fats."
But then she admits she went all out: "Once I knew the ground rules, I was very strict and really stuck to it. I ate minimal carbs and no grains, beans or legumes. Instead, I focused my meals on fresh vegetables and lean proteins."
As soon as she mentioned fasting, we knew this was going to be tricky.
"Intermittent fasting is also a part of the keto diet," she writes. "For me, this meant not eating for 14 to 16 hours after dinner. I wouldn't eat past 7pm at night and then I would wait to eat breakfast the next day until after my morning workout, which would be around 10:30am–11am Then, one day a week, I did a 24-hour fast where I only drank homemade bone broth, water and green tea."
Sure, if you're multi-millionaire star with an at home chef and a personal trainer to work out with everyday, we get it. You've probably got a whole fridge full of bone broth.
But if you're working 10-hour days in an office, is this at all realistic? We're not sure. Let us know what you think in the comments!
38 Times Kourtney Kardashian's Deadpan Humour Was *Literally* EVERYTHING
Kourtney also made sure to check in with her doctor throughout the diet and included a treat once a week.
Apparently she isn't still doing this diet - it didn't sound achievable long term - but because she had postive results she will attempt it again later this year.
If you are interested in keto diets, as with any major dietary changes, you must check in with your GP to discuss the benefits and how it will work for you.
