Review: Labrinth at 'Parklife 2012' in Sydney
Starting 15 mins late, Labrinth quickly made up for it with his smooth showmanship.
"Don't let anybody tell you you ain't sh*t hot tonight! That you aren't sh*t hot sexy tonight!" he told his 'Parklife 2012' Sydney audience.
Diving straight into the dance moves during 'Express Yourself', the Brit wanted to remember his first time in Australia with a picture, pausing the show to get one.
A multi instrumentalist, he swapped between guitar and synth, but stopped the show when a bottle was thrown onstage.
Putting his guitar down, he yelled,
"Who threw a bottle at me? F**k you!
"On the count of three everybody say f**k you" which incited a unanimous echo of expletives.
Not holding a grudge, the star continued the show with 'Pass Out', and even jumped down from the stage to greet fans before declaring the next song was for the mosh pit.
Fiercely popular with the ladies, there was no shortage of screams of adoration from his female fans during a set full of guitar solos, dancing, and smooth synth playing.
After performing his happy and upbeat first solo single released in 2010, 'Let The Sunshine', he stopped to sternly address the crowd again.
"If you came here to stand still, then go the f**k home!"
"Are we ready to make an earthquake up in here?"
The tent roared as he launched into the chart-topping hit 'Earthquake', the audience’s voices ringing through the heavy bass beats in unison.
