Lady Gaga teases new single ‘G.U.Y.’
Lady Gaga wants to be the girl under you according to the snippet of her new song ‘G.U.Y.’ which was released yesterday.
Known for her upbeat and controversial lyrics, Gaga sings: “Love me, love me, please re-tweet/Let me be the girl under you that makes you cry / I wanna be that G.U.Y. / I wanna be that.”
Pronouncing it “jigh”, ’G.U.Y.’ is an acronym for Girl Under You and will be one of the tracks on her new LP ‘ARTPOP’ available from November 11.
Gaga will continue to tease and please her Little Monsters by making some of the lyrics from her new songs available every day up until the release date.
Taking to Instagram this morning Gaga revealed some of the lyrics to her new song ‘Dope’: “Toast one last puff and two last regrets three spirits and 12 lonely steps / up heaven’s stairway to gold / Mine myself like coal A mountain of a soul / Each day I cry I feel so low from living so high."
This release follows yesterday’s photo of the handwritten ‘Dope’ lyrics: “My heart would break without you/ Might not awake without you/ Been hurtin' low/ From living high for so long/ I'm sorry and I love you."
Mother Monster is due to release another teaser of a song sometime next week and has confirmed that the next single off the album will be titled ‘Venus’ which will start a new trilogy and is due to be released on October 25.
Taking to Twitter on the weekend Gaga said that ‘ARTPOP’ will be the album of the millennium.
I was trying to think of something more ridiculous than Millennium..ALBUM OF INFINTE!
In a Q&A with her fans Gaga told them her inspiration for the album, saying: “I delved deep into my heart and mind and truly made a record that I wanted to listen to, it is a complete and total transportation from pop culture as you know it into an explosion of art fantasy, rage and eros."
